1920s Art Deco Rhinestone Cuff
Finished bracelet will measure approximately 7in around but can easily be adjusted as needed
47004 Rhinestone Bar Spacer (10pc/pkg) – 2 or 3 packages
Elastic Cord – 40in to 48in length
Small Binder Clip
Cut elastic cord into 2 equal lengths at least 20 inches long each. (Need a larger bracelet? Cut each piece 2 to 4 inches longer). Thread one piece through the needle and pull half way through so elastic is doubled. Clip the elastic ends in the binder clip (this is to stop the bars from falling off).
Using the tape measure, determine what size bracelet you will need. Thread 20 rhinestone bars onto the cord through the top hole of the bar. Lay bracelet flat on work area and measure its length, adding or removing bars as needed.
Before tying elastic, carefully snip elastic close to the eye of the needle and remove needle, holding onto the elastic ends. Carefully remove binder clip from the other end, holding onto the elastic ends. Securely tie the elastic ends together being careful not to tie too tightly. Tie ends several times and dot with glue if desired. Once dry, clip ends somewhat close to knot.
For the second row of elastic, repeat as above, threading elastic through the bottom holes of the rhinestone bars. Again, tie elastic ends together, trying to match the size/stretch of the first elastic cord . Again, dab knot with glue, let dry, and trim ends somewhat close to knot.
